SAINT FRANCIS' STIGMATA (Louvre, Paris) From its original site in St. Francis at Pisa, this work changed residence a couple of times in the same Pisa, to fall a prey of the inexhaustible rapture for plundering of Napoleon. It is one of the three panels signed by Giotto : "Opus Jocti Florentini" and, as we have already seen, it is considered a work of "bottega".
